Lysandre Ménard, piano

Lysandre Ménard is currently completing her master in music at the Royal Academy of Music in London guided by Ian Brown. She finished her bachelor’s degree at the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal under the teaching of Richard Raymond, André Laplante and formerly, Jean-François Latour. She ranked first in the Crescendo International Musical Contest in New-York and played many times on stage at the Carnegie Hall.

In 2015, she entered a new era in her career by acting in Léa Pool’s movie, La passion d’Augustine in which she plays Alice, a young piano prodigy. The same year, Lysandre has been approached by the Metropolitan Orchestra to become the first ambassador of the Young Music Lovers program.

In 2016, Lysandre made her debut in chamber music by playing in duo with the cellist Stéphane Tétreault.
